Nerf is a toy brand owned by Hasbro, a leading toy company behind some of the most famous brands such as Monopoly, Playskool, My Little Pony, Transformers and many others. Most Nerf products are toy blasters which shoot foam darts. So a Nerf party would involve players shooting each other with these blasters, much like a paint ball game.
Playing Nerf is a good idea for a birthday party, and not only for kids, as we have found out. We have also been involved in many corporate events as well, be it a Christmas or end-of-year activity or a team building exercise or just something a little different.
No it doesn't, not really. Of course, everyone's pain tolerance varies but generally speaking it does not hurt when you are hit with the foam darts/bullets. At close range, you may feel something like the flick of a finger, which goes away within seconds. Most times players do not even feel the shots from the blasters - and subsequently deny they were hit :)
Our Nerf battles include the following:
1. Nerf blasters/guns
2. Nerf team bands
3. Darts/bullets
4. Goggles/protective eyewear
5. Inflatable barricades
6. A variety of objective-based games
7. A referee to run the games
As such, you don't need to bring anything else other than, perhaps, water.
We would encourage you NOT to bring your own gun and/or bullets to avoid getting mixed up or damaged, but we won't stop you if you decide to bring your gun along.
Pricing is as follows:
1. $260 for up to 10 players (+$20 per extra player)
2. $320 for up to 14 players (+$20 per extra player)
3. $420 for up to 20 players
Please contact us if you have more than 20 players.
For more info, please visit our Pricing page.
The answer to that is no, not really, unless you pay for the extra players. As per our terms and conditions, pricing is for a set number of people who will be playing or participating in the activities for the duration. For example, if a booking has been made for 10 players, then only up to 10 players are allowed to participate in the activities for the duration of the event. You can not have more than 10 players and split them into smaller groups (ie swap around). More players than what has been booked is possible at an additional cost (standard charges apply).
While the recommended minimum age is 8, we have done loads of parties for 6 and even 5 year olds. The difference is that younger children are less likely to play structured games, such as Capture the Flag. They will still have loads of fun by tagging each other and sometimes simply by collecting bullets/darts.
